Qualification: M. Tech in food engineering and Technology/ M.Tech in Food Technology/ B. Tech in Food Technology with experience in handling instruments like GC, HPLC, ICP and water testing etc. and Microbiologist to perform microbiological test related to food, water and beverages.
Experience: 2 - 3 years
Skills: Experience in handling instruments like GC, HPLC, ICP and water testing etc/ experience in microbiological test related to food, water and beverages.
Location: Guwahati
Salary: Rs. Rs. 30000 to Rs. 35000
Job Profile: Food Analyst/ Chemist/ Microbiologist to perform standardized qualitative and quantitative tests to determine physical or chemical properties of food or beverage products.
Job tasks:
1. To conduct standardized physical and chemical test including toxic substances and pesticide residues on food and beverages using instruments such as ICP-AES, GC-FPD/TCD/ECD and HPLC to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
2. To prepare standard operative procedures for different tests based on national and international standards such as ISO and APHA
3. To record and compile sample analysed and test performed.
4. To maintain lab as per GLP and GMP
5. To maintain records of testing results or other documents as required by state or other governing agencies such as ISO, NABL, FSSAI
6. To develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third party inspector.
