COVID-19 - AHSEC cancelled HS 1st Year Exam 2021: Promoted all Students to 2nd Year

AHSEC cancelled HS 1st Year Exam 2021:

It is for information of all concerned that, due to prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Higher Secondary First Year Examination, 2021 scheduled to be held from 04/05/2021 which was postponed has now been cancelled and all the students, who have filled up online applications for the same are hereby declared to have been promoted to the HS 2nd Year Class for the academic session 2021-2022. 

Assam HS 1st Year Routine 2021:

Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) released HS 1st year Exam Routine 2021. AHSEC is going to conduct the Higher Secondary First year (1st) Year Final Examination from 4th May 2021 onwards. The details of Assam HS 1st year Exam schedule/ program/ routine are given below.

Assam HS 1st Year Routine 2021 Details:

Name of Examination: Higher Secondary 1st Year Examination, 2021

Examination Class: 11th Standard

Examination Streams: Arts, Commerce, Science & Vocational

Conducted by: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC)

Starting Date of Exam: 4th May 2021 [Cancelled]

End Date of Exam: 29th May 2021 [Cancelled]

Routine Release Date: 9th April 2021

Assam HS 1st Year Exam Routine 2021:

Last year the Higher Secondary First Year Examination was not conducted by AHSEC due to covid pandemic and promoted all students to class 12th without sitting the HS 1st year exam. AHSEC conducts a final examination every year for all newly admitted students from class 11th to class 12th i.e. from HS 1st Year to HS 2nd Year. This year AHSEC is going to conduct the Higher Secondary 1st Year Final Exam from 4th May 2021 to 29th May 2021 as per the exam routine given below.

➢ Music Group A Include: Hindustani Vocal, Kathak Dance, Tabla, Violin & Sitar.

➢ Music Group B Include: Sattriya Vocal Music (Borgeet), Sattriya Dance & Khol.

➢ Music Group C Include: (i) Assamese Folk Music/ (ii) Assamese Folk Dance

(Theory paper will be common for both the subjects, but, Practical paper will be separate)
