APDCL Mobile Number Update - Link/ Registration Process:

Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has made it compulsory to register/ update consumer Aadhar number, Email ID, Voter ID, GMC Holding Number and Occupation details and link mobile number with APDCL. They request its consumer to update the details online on the official website (apdcl.org) before the 31st of December 2022. Consumers may also update their details offline by visiting the APDCL office.

APDCL announced that Customer who fails to update the details before 31st of December 2022, maybe barred from electricity connection temporarily.

Why it Mandatory to Link/ Update Mobile Number in APDCL?

The main reason to Update/ Register Consumers Mobile numbers and Email ID with APDCL is that APDCL will be informed or send notifications to its customer regarding electricity bills, shutdown and restoration, and its causes and duration. Consumers also have to update their details of occupation in the APDCL online registration form. Consumers' Occupation details will help APDCL to know your profile better way.

APDCL Online Data Update:

As per APDCL recent notification, all consumers reuired to update/ register their following personal details:

1. Name

2. Consumer No.

3. Mobile No.

4. Aadhaar No. (if available)

5. Email ID (if available)

6. Occupation

How to Register Mobile Number in APDCL ?

Consumers can update the above details online or offline. Consumers can choose any one of the following two processes:

1. Online Process: Using APDCL Official Website .

2. Offline Process: By visiting the respective electrical sub-division office .

Online Process of APDCL Mobile Number Update:

Here we are going to discuss the complete process of online mobile number update by visiting APDCL official website following the below-given steps:

Step 1: Visit APDCL website www.apdcl.org

Step 2: Click on the ‘Update Consumer Mobile Number’ tab. A new page will be opened.

Step 3: in the new page, Enter your "Consumer No" and click on the blue "arrow" button . A new page will be opened agian.

Step 4: Now enter your all details: Mobile No. (mandatory), Occupation (mandatory), Email ID (optional) and Aadhaar No. (Optional).

Step 5:After Fillup the page, Click on Submit.

Step 6:  An OTP will be sent to your mobile number, enter your OTP on the next page and Click on “Verify".

Finally, You have successfully registered your mobile number and other details with APDCL.

 Offline Process of APDCL Mobile Number Update:

To register/ update mobile number by offline mode consumers should visit the respective electrical sub-division office and submit all the following data writing in a paper.

 

1. Name

2. Consumer No.

3. Mobile No.

4. Aadhaar No. (if available)

5. Email ID (if available)

6. Occupation

APDCL Mobile Number Registration Last Date:

The last date to register/ update your mobile number, Aadhaar number, EPIC No. (Voter ID), Email ID with APDCL is 31st December 2022.
