AHSEC HS Final Result 2021: Evaluation Process & Formula Announced

AHSEC HS Final Result 2021 - Evaluation Process & Formula:

Education Department of Assam, AHSEC has announced the evaluation process or Formula of AHSEC Higher Secondary Final Exam (HS 2nd year) on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

This year Assam Govt. will declare the result of the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Year Exam under AHSEC based on the below given Formula/ Process due to  COVID-19 situation.





Evaluation Process & Formula for AHSEC HS Final Result 2021:

The assessment methodology is being categorized according to whether students have practical subjects or not.

(a) For students of Science and Arts streams with practical subjects, the following assessment methods will be undertaken-

i) 50% weightage for marks secured in the three best subjects in HSLC or equivalent examination.

ii) 30% weightage for marks in the practical examination conducted by the institutions.

iii) 10% weightage for marks obtained in the class test, unit test, annual examination, pretest, assignment, project works, plus attendance during the academic session 2019-2021.

iv) 10% weightage for marks obtained in the above 3 categories.

(b) For students with non practical subjects (Arts / Commerce), the following assessment method will be undertaken-

i) 50% weightage for marks obtained in the three best subjects in the HSLC or equivalent examinations.

ii) 40% weightage for marks obtained in test, unit test, annual examination, pre-test, assignment, project work, etc, plus attendance during the academic session 2019.

iii) 10% weightage for marks obtained in the above 3 categories.

(c) For Vocational Stream, the following assessment method will be undertaken-

i) 50% weightage for marks secured in the three best subjects in the HSLC or equivalent examination.

ii) 40% weightage for marks (Maximum) from the practical examination conducted by the institutions.

iii) 10% weightage for marks obtained in the above 3 categories.

(d) For the NIP (Unsuccessful students of Previous HS Final Examination) students:

(a) For the Betterment, Reappearance, Compartmental and Certain Subject candidates, the following guidelines will be undertaken-
 
i) Betterment (Maximum in four subjects):

Enhancement of marks will be on the basis of marks obtained in the last HS Final Examination and marks will be allotted as shown below

10% for Third Division

7% for Second Division

5% for First Division.

ii) Re-appearance all subjects:

Enhancement of marks will be done on the basis of the already obtained division such as

10% for Third Division

7% for Second Division

5% for First Division.

iii) Compartmental (in one subject):

Enhancement of marks will be done on the basis of marks obtained in previous examination as follows

10% for those who secured in the range of 150 to 224

7% for those who secured in the range of 225 to 299

5% for those who secured 300 & above.  

iv) Certain Subject (in one subject):

10% for those who secured in the range of 150 to 224

7% for those  who secured in the range of 225 to 299

5% for those who secured 300 & above.

(b) For repeat (unsuccessful candidates) the following guidelines are to be followed:

i) 50% weightage for marks secured in the three best subjects in the HSLC or equivalent examination.

ii) 40% weightage for marks (Maximum) from the First Year Annual examination conducted by the institutions or AHSEC.

iii) 10% weightage for marks obtained in the above 3 categories.

The results will be  declared on the basis of the division obtained by candidates as per usual norms. However, there will be no mention of ranks such as Star, letter marks, highest mark obtained and merit list in this year’s results. Additionally, there will be no provision for re-checking of answers scripts since no physical examination will be held this year. However, students' grievances on any errors reported will be endorsed.
