Assam TET Syllabus - Download PDF:
SSA Assam has released Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) syllabus for Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) school teachers. The Assam TET syllabus can be download in Pdf format from the official website of SSA Assam (ssa.assam.gov.in).
The syllabus of Paper-1 (LP) and Paper-2 (UP) of Assam TET consists of Child Development & Pedagogy, Language subjects (Assamese, English, Bodo, Manipuri, Hindi etc.), Mathematics & Science and Social Studies.
Here we are going to discuss the exam pattern and structure of Assam TET Syllabus both for Paper-1 (LP) and Paper-2 (UP) as per NCTE guidelines. By knowing the Assam LP/ UP TET Exam Pattern, candidates can get a complete idea of the structure of the examination.

Paper-I: The Paper-I will be for candidates who intend to be a teacher for Lower Primary school (classes I to V)

Note:
• All (150) questions will be of MCQ type; each question will carry 1 mark.
• There will be no negative marking.
• Duration of examination: 2 ½ hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-I and 2 ½ hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-II. Additional 20 minutes’ time (per hour) will be there for visually impaired candidates.
Minimum Marks to Qualify in Assam TET:
A candidate is required to score 60 % i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET). However, for SC/ST (Hills)/ST (Plain)/OBC/MOBC/PWD (PH), there will be relaxation of 5 %. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying marks will be 83 out of 150 i.e. 55 % .
