Other Criteria of Assam Police Constable Recruitment:

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.

 

Age Limit:  

 

• Sub-Officer: Candidate age must be between 20 to 24 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.1999).

• Other Posts: Candidate age must be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1998).

Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below

• OBC/ MOBC: 3 (three) years

• Trained Home Guards: 3 (three) years
