Pay: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 8700/- plus other allowances

Eligibility Criteria for SLPRB Assam Jailor Recruitment:

Citizenship: Candidate must be Indian Citizen and permanent resident of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 40 years as on 1st July 2022.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit will be relaxed as:

• SC/ ST: 5 years

• OBC/ MOBC: 3 years

• Ex-Servicemen: 2 years

Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/Institution affiliated with a recognized University.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Height (Minimum) - Male:

a) Gen / OBC / MOBC / SC  — 162.5 cm

b) ST (H) / ST (P)  — 160 cm

Height (Minimum) - Female:

b) ST (H) / ST (P) — 142 cm
