SAMARTH Assam Portal - Online College Admission
The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has launched a web portal called "SAMARTH". SAMARTH Admission Portal is a common application portal of Assam where students can apply online for admission to undergraduate (UG) courses like BA, BCom, BSc etc. The Education Minister of Assam launched the SAMARTH Admission Portal on 14th June 2023.

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has developed an online admission portal called SAMARTH. The SAMARTH Online Admission Portal will be used to receive applications for admission to various colleges and universities in Assam for various undergraduate courses.
This will reduce the hassle of students submitting separate applications for different colleges. The portal will provide students with an option to submit applications for admission to a maximum of 10 institutes. Also, it will solve the overlapping issue by allowing each student to take admission in only one institute. Similarly, this portal will help institutions and governments to implement various welfare schemes directly.

How to Apply on SAMARTH Assam Portal
Students who have passed Higher Secondary (HS) final examination and want to get admission into Bachelor's Degree courses now have to apply online through Samarth Portal. The Samarth Online Admission Process has been mentioned below.
Step 1: Go to the Important Links section below
Step 2: Click Online Application Form Link.
Step 3: Complete the Register process putting your basic details.
Step 4: After that, enter all personal and educational information as required.
Step 5: Next you have to upload documents.
Step 6: Finally Submit the form. An acknowledgment receipt will be generated.
After the online application process is over, students have to visit their respective institutes to take admission in his college of choice as per merit list.
